  "correction": "The 6.4e-04 'instrument noise floor' published earlier was NOT run-to-run nondeterminism. bf16 encoding the same prompt twice returns a bit-identical tensor (self-check relative L2 exactly 0.0 on all six prompts). The 6.4e-04 was accumulation error in torch cosine_similarity over ~1M float32 elements: it scales with tensor length (3.3e-06 at 60 tokens to 9.9e-05 at 512), vanishes in float64 (1e-13), and every affected value was NEGATIVE i.e. cosine similarity above 1.0, which is impossible. Consequence: the cosine figures for int8 and nvfp4 are inside the metric's own error and unusable; int4's are an order of magnitude above it and survive. All conclusions in the write-up rest on relative L2, which returned exactly 0.0 for identical tensors and is unaffected."
